And it all came down to this.
I recently moved up to Seattle and I'm now finding myself wanting to meet some new people (because hanging out with my girlfriend 24/7 would drive her crazy). Since I have a 4 year old daughter I thought that it would be great to meet some gay mommies.
But how do I find them? Where are the gay mommies in my area?
I realized that I would have to search all over the place (internet-wise) to find this. And not too long ago, I also had to search all over the place to figure out a method to get pregnant as a single gay woman.
SO, I thought I would create a space for (mainly) lesbian women and their friends with a focus on kids, finding friends, pregnancy, sperm-donation, day care, family friendly traveling and other family related topics. A one stop shop.
My main goal is to create a place where we can find other women and information in a safe and comfortable environment.
But I need your help to do it! =)
This can only work if we all do it together. You'll tell your friends who tell their friends .... Then people start to blog and post information that will hopefully be very helpful to women all around the world.
